Hello! Just a quick post to tell you all that we are not dead. Various factors are coming together behind the scenes, and hopefully it won’t be too long until Superbonusland rises again in an even better form.

Meanwhile, on Boxing day last year the DS ran out of power so we weren’t able to play Scribblenauts anymore… we couldn’t find that elusive AC adaptor anywhere, so through sheer boredom we made a video instead. Enjoy!

Well, I certainly don’t remember Donkey Kong being like this… won’t someone think of the children? Viral video maker Danebow, previusly known to the authorities as the man behind Sonic the Hedgehog vs Pac-Man and Contra vs Duck Hunt, brings the events of Donkey Kong to a violent yet logical conclusion in his latest mash-up.

BoyofBlue is the though provoking site of Calafornian fruitloop Wayne Martin Belger.

The cameras he constructs are amazing…

4”x5” camera made from Steel (3/4” plate found in the desert near Mexico), Brass (parts from an 1800’s gold scale and bullet shells), Bronze, Copper (Bullets), Aluminum, Antler and Ivory (carved hand from a 18th century Christ figure).

and the pictures he takes with them are mesmerising…

I’m still hugely ambivelent about his work but that’s the mark of an important artist,
However, it’s safe to say that ethereal pictures taken with a camera made from a 13 year old girls skull, are not everyone’s cup of tea.

That said I wouldn’t be surprised if Wayne drank his tea from a matching skull…

Charlie is making a long awaited return to his first love of computer games tonight with a 50min special (10pm BBC4), be sure to watch and generate a bit of blogthusiasm because the BBC will need some encouragement to commission a full series…

Also, his column in yesterdays guardian was a return to form, It’s an old debate with fresh rage.
